JanaiBlog is a blog that covers various entertainment media, with a primary focus on anime, manga, video games and “otaku” fandom.

What’s with the name?

JanaiBlog is run and maintained by Jon Ingoglia, commonly shortened to “Jon I.” which is phonetically similar to “Janai,” the Japanese word for “is not.” There’s no real meaning to the name beyond that, it’s just an interesting pun that rolls off the tongue nicely.

Other stuff worth mentioning

JanaiBlog is an affiliate of Out Of Time Productions, an Internet-based video production company that focuses on anime convention documentaries, in addition to original programs as well.
